Using This Site

This site is not just a blog, it is a compendium of information on biochar and natural fertilization methods, such as composting and vermiculture. The blog posts will contain reviews of biochar reports elsewhere on the Internet, with links to them, organized by category. The category links are there in the right-hand column.

At the top of that right-hand column is a heading for ‘pages’ — that will have the ‘About’ page which gives the background on this site, this page that you are reading now, and several page-category headings such as ‘Experiments’, ‘Resources’, etc. On those page-category pages you find links to reports for those topics. Those reports are unique to this site, while information in the blog-post categories have information from other websites.

This means you might find the same topic listed twice — once under ‘pages’ and again under ‘categories’ (referring to blog-post categories). The ‘experiments’ topic under ‘pages’ refers to experiments I have conducted, or that are contributed by you, our readers, for publication here, while ‘experiments’ under the blog-post ‘categories’ section refers to our descriptions, links and summaries of experiments reported on other websites.

Confused? I hope not. Just browse around a while, and you will soon see what’s what!
